Pointing fills the joints between your slabs to keep out weeds and water. For porcelain paving, we'd recommend either:
- Kerakoll Fugabella Color grout: gives a smooth, even, coloured finish, is water-repellent, and works on joints up to 20mm wide.
- ProPave brush-in jointing compound: quick and easy to use, and ideal for DIY. You simply brush it into the joints.
Whichever pointing product you choose, make sure your joints are at least 5mm wide, and follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully. Clean any residue off the surface of the slabs straight away, as it can be very difficult to remove from porcelain once it has dried.
