We show our recommended joint size on each product page, so please check there first. As a general guide, the minimum joint sizes are:
- Rectified tiles (precisely cut edges): 2mm minimum.
- Non-rectified tiles: 3mm minimum, to allow for small size differences between tiles.
- Outdoor 20mm paving: 5mm minimum.
Never lay tiles tight together with no gap. Tiles need room to move, especially over underfloor heating.
