Pallets are delivered kerbside by a lorry with a tail lift. The driver lowers the pallet to the ground and moves it with a hand-operated pallet truck, which needs a hard, flat, level surface. A pallet truck can't move across gravel, grass, slopes or steps.
Please tell us about anything that could make delivery difficult, either in the notes at checkout or by contacting us before your delivery date:
- narrow roads, or cars parked on both sides
- little room for other vehicles to pass
- long private access roads or tracks
- low bridges or weight restrictions
- a gravel, sloping or uneven drive
If your property is hard to find, has more than one entrance, or is shared with other homes or businesses, you can give us a what3words address to help the driver find you.
Telling us in advance lets the delivery company plan a vehicle that can reach you. If the driver can't safely unload on the day, the delivery will need to be rebooked and a redelivery charge may apply.
